Membership Benefits
NAOP membership brings you into a network of parks advocates, preservationists, landscape architects and designers, architects, scholars and parks professionals. The exchange of ideas, resources and opportunities is invaluable, especially when there are landscapes in danger from encroachments, ignorance or neglect.
To facilitate this network of support and exchange, the NAOP publishes Field Notes (our newsletter) and Reprints (historic writings and commentary).
- Parks
Watch newsletter gives a legislative
update for members of National
Association for Olmsted Parks and City
Parks Alliance. Members also receive other
periodic mailings related to federal funding
for historic parks.
- We keep you informed of other pertinent
publications, some of which are available
directly through us at a discount (visit the NAOP
Bookstore).
- Members receive discounts for our regular conferences and invitations to regional member receptions.
NAOP maintains the Web site, http://www.olmsted.org/, to inform members and interested citizens of our work in advocacy and research, and provide information on documented best practices. We plan to expand our Web site services for members to include capacity to allow exchanges among users and provide a wider range of technical assistance.
Individuals as well as organizations are encouraged to join.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by phone (toll free) at 866-666-6905 or via e-mail at info@naop.org.
