park_photoFor 30 years, NAOP has raised awareness of the importance of the Olmsted legacy among public officials, community leaders, landscape design professionals and academics. Your contributions to NAOP support scholarship and publication of key reference materials, advocacy for historical park restoration, and technical assistance to local preservation efforts.

From Buffalo to Louisville, Atlanta to Seattle, Baltimore to Los Angeles, the Olmsteds completed plans for more than 6,000 landscapes, including many of the world's most important urban parks. NAOP’s work has played a critical role in documenting and protecting these historic landscapes while strengthening the network of communities working to preserve these valuable places.
